Mr. Venie and his firm limit their practice to defending those individuals, groups, corporations and families accused of crimes and NCAA rules violations or infractions.
The firm represents people and entities (businesses and corporations) when they are being investigated by, but have not yet been charged by the government. The firm also defends individuals and entities in all parallel civil proceedings (professional licensing proceedings, DMV/MVD hearings, SEC hearings, IRS hearings, etc). In addition, the firm defends criminal cases, trials, and appeals, and state and federal writ of habeas corpus petitions.
The firm also represents people and entities who are accused of major and minor violations (infractions) of NCAA regulations. This part of the practice involves defending accused interested persons, individuals at risk, student athletes, coaches, and institutions who are accused of violating NCAA rules.
